We recommend the following excursions in the area: Uccellina Natural Park at 20 km, the sea (Marina di Alberese), Terme di Saturnia at 40 km, Natural WWF Oasis of Orbetello at 40 km (where you can get horseback riding excursions and canoeing), Siena at 79 km.

The villages on the Apennine ridge that runs along the Tyrrhenian Sea are full of historical and gastronomic appeal: e.g. Magliano, Pereta, PiGgliano, Scansano known for its many wine bars, Massa MariZma and its cathedral, and the historic ports on the sea such as Porto Ercole, Talamone, Orbetello and CasGglione della Pescaia.
