This Villa is a veritable fortress carved into the rock and overlooking the green sea of the Umbrian hills, a few kilometers from the naturalistic park that houses the Springs of Clitunno where, in Roman times, Giove Clitunno was worshiped. The Romans were convinced that the depths of these waters hid this God. They began to frequent what is still today a true naturalistic and botanical Paradise also for its beauty. Not by chance since ancient times these places are considered by all as
regenerating. Near here ther’re also the Tempitetto del Clitunno, a monument considered a World Heritage Site by Unesco. It’s a small church, dedicated to San Salvatore, in the shape of a Corinthian temple. In the past it was thought to be a Roman shrine, later rededicated as a church, but the presence of a cross in the center of the tympanum seems to prove that it was instead a Christian building from the beginning.
Very livable dwelling, with its 500m’, five bedrooms, a separate living room, the large dining area with a fully equipped kitchen but also a large patio, is outside that the Villa offers a particularly picturesque setting perched on a rocky spur overlooking the valley below.
From every window of the property, and from the outdoor garden, you can enjoy an enchanting view that takes your breath away like a sunset. Unique moments, the latter, to be enjoyed perhaps in complete relaxation in the beautiful outdoor infinity pool, or sitting in the picnic area. The property also includes a barbecue area and other services for groups and families.
