The annual Cannes International Film Festival, held in May of each year, is Cannes' most famous attraction. For almost two weeks, thousands of photographers, paparazzi, the press, and movie fans arrive to see the new films previewed and to catch a glimpse of the famous actors, directors, and film moguls. During the rest of the year, Cannes is home to tourists seeking sun and fun on the French Riviera. In addition to beach fun, cruise ship passengers also love strolling down the Boulevard de la Croissette in Cannes, sitting in a sunny cafe, or exploring some of the nearby villages or cities on the Riviera.


Cannes is a cheese lovers' paradise. Spring is the ideal season for tasting goat’s cheese. You'll find dozens of different varieties here supplied directly by small-scale producers. There are many restaurants dedicated to various culinary trends and of a wide variety from Italian, Asian, local delicacies and more. The most elegant and prestigious restaurants are located near the district of California and budget restaurants and cafes are found in Suquet and Forvil districts.


Cannes is full of all-nighter bars and dance clubs some of which are open until 7 am! There are options for every taste, you will find gay clubs, DJ clubs, laid back bars, formal bars and even all-nighter restaurants. Truly a perfect place for a good night out.



With it's wonderful climate and chic reputation, Cannes is a great place to visit. This city, on France’s sparkling Riviera, has many fascinating cultural attractions as well as some great places where you can relax, indulge and watch how the other half live. "La Croisette" is one of the most iconic streets in France, running the length of the seafront for a mile. Take a walk or a jog down the street and enjoy the beauty surrounding you. Visit "La Mairie" (the Town Hall), and later head over to "Le Vieux Port", The Old Port of Cannes. The Port is an interesting mix of traditional charm and wealth. A great place to watch huge yachts arrive into town while having a drink in one of the cool bars that line the water’s edge. Forville Market, the most famous indoor market in Cannes is located between the town hall and the railway station and is open from Tuesday to Sunday. The market sells a variety of foods such as organic fruit and vegetables, cold cuts, cheese and fish straight off the boats. These are just a few of the many things to do and see in this magical place.



10-15 September 2019 – Cannes Yachting Festival The city gets particularly nautical for a few days, showcasing its snazziest yachts and cruisers. Take some time out to gawp at the swish vessels.
07-18 May 2019 – Cannes Film Festival Since 1939, The Cannes Film Festival is one of the most famous international festivals in the world, celebrating both art-house and mainstream cinema. Cannes comes alive every May when the most celebrated names in the film world descend on the city.

Travel to Cannes


There are two airports located in Cannes, Nice International Airport (30 mins by car) and the smaller, but excellent Cannes-Mandelieu Airport (6 km from the center of Cannes). We can arrange your pick up from both airports.


We can arrange for a mini bus, taxi, or chauffeur-driven service from your chosen airport to your luxury place in Cannes. Alternatively, there are private Nice airport transfers available.


Cannes has a network of rail links to Nice Airport with a picturesque journey taking about half an hour. Contact our team to discuss the options that would be best suited for you.
