The Villa is like a large sailing ship resting on the hill above Lake Como. A truly timeless show that opens onto a show that makes you breathless. The house blends with the picturesque context which, all around it, seems to make it almost a frame.
The Villa thrives on the wind that rises from the valley, the breeze that descends to the water, the colors of the four seasons, the greenery that surrounds it, the singing of birds, the echoes of nature. Living a holiday here will be like living immersed in a fairy tale. The structure, built in the middle of the last century, is located fifteen minutes by car from the main localities in the area. The lines were modeled by the famous artist Gio Ponti who, in one of the two main halls, re-proposed what appears to be the interior of a sailing ship, with large lights and wood on the floor, capable of plowing the waters and making its way gently moving the heavenly waters of the lake below.
The house can accommodate up to 13 people in 6 bedrooms practically all with private bathroom. All internal and external spaces are very comfortable and unique in their construction: the central balcony where you can relax to have an Italian breakfast, the swimming pool where you can eat for lunch, the upper balcony for aperitifs, the dining room lunch for meetings with friends or family.
All around many trees and an infinite garden. In a slightly isolated area, accessible only on foot, there is also a swimming pool with solarium and a sauna. The property also boasts a spa bath and a spa bath. A large internal spiral staircase serves the various floors which are completely autonomous and accessible via separate entrances. Family rooms and free parking are also available.
Nearby, to visit, the gardens of Villa Melzi, Villa Carlotta and Villa Balbianello. The boat embarkation is only 5 and a half kilometers away, the Lugano airport is aroundthirty, the Orio al Serio airport less than fifty. Among the most particular attractions the Como – Brunate funicular, about twenty kilometers away.
