The Karpas Peninsula area, with its long and golden beaches is also an hours drive and is a great place to visit for its monastery and historic past. If you wish to explore more locally, there are plenty of excellent places to dine, walk and hike and the Korineum 18-hole championship golf course is just a short distance away with its golf course, restaurant and beach resort.
