Completed in time for the winter season of 2019/20, this stylish new penthouse apartment in one of Val d’Isère’s most desirable locations is a jewel in the crown of Val d'Isère. Chalet 3 - offers a slope-side mountain home, interior decorated by a leading French designer in a lavish alpine-chic style. Sleeping up to eight guests in four stunning en-suite bedrooms, it is an idyllic home for families or groups of friends seeking quick access to the slopes.

Guests can ski right to the door of this sophisticated penthouse apartment which overlooks the La Face piste and once there, indulge in fantastic shared spa facilities or simply soak up the majesty of the mountains. Every aspect of this chic chalet has been carefully curated to create a striking and superb alpine retreat.

The apartment is set over three exquisite floors, with the middle floor featuring a stunning double-height living room, dining room and kitchen.You enter the apartment on the floor that is adjacent to the piste without having to climb any stairs. A private ski room equipped with boot warmers is located directly next to the main door. The living area is found on your left as you walk through the hallway. It is a beautiful space, with a sense of grandeur created by floor to ceiling windows reaching up to the dramatic double-height roof. Double doors take you to the sun-drenched west-facing balcony featuring lounge chairs and a dining table, where you can drink in the breath-taking mountain views. Generous use of reclaimed wood ensures that the space feels traditional and homely, while elegant, modern décor and high-end furnishings ensure a luxurious finish. A large wood-burning fireplace forms the focal point of the living area. A sumptuous sectional sofa positioned in front of the fireplace means that everyone gets to enjoy it, as well as the incredible views beyond. There is a large TV mounted on the natural stone chimney too. This side of the room is overlooked by the sleek kitchen, with hand-crafted reclaimed wooden cupboards, spacious marble counter tops, a wine fridge, and a large American style fridge freezer. The left side of the room is occupied by the dining area which seats up to eight people at an elegant dining table. Natural light fills the space by day, and, by night, sensitive lighting ensures a wonderful ambience. There is also a mezzanine library nestled in the eaves of the apartment where you can cosy up with your favourite book.

The first bedroom is located off the dining area. It is a twin/double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a private toilet. It is decorated in tranquil, earthy tones, panelled in reclaimed wood and finished with rich textiles. This bedroom has a wall-mounted TV and plenty of storage space. The second bedroom is also a twin/double room and is located opposite the entrance and the same care and attention has been taken when decorating this room. It has an en-suite shower room in natural stone and guests staying here make use of the guest WC.

The stairs leading to the upper level bring you into the sumptuous master suite, which occupies the whole floor. This exquisite adult retreat features an open plan bathroom with full length bath, separate shower, his 'n hers stone sinks, and separate WC all finished in natural stone and reclaimed wood. It also boasts a delightful office nook, with a built-in desk and wall-mounted TV. It is a beautifully appointed, luxurious space, where you will wake feeling rested and revitalised.

Taking the stairs down to the lower floor, you will find the last of the four bedrooms, a twin/double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Again, use of earthy colours, rich fabrics, and reclaimed wood ensure a sophisticated and serene space. There is a dedicated WC opposite this bedroom.

The apartment has its own laundry room with a washer and a dryer and ample storage space.

The apartment is one of four that share a refined spa area on the building’s first floor presided over by a heated swimming pool with endless current and submerged jet spa. A sauna completes this tranquil space, perfect for indulging tired, ski-weary muscles.

An expansive parking garage, with two dedicated parking places with electric car charging ports, occupies the lowest level of the building.
