Sitges Life

Sitges is a cosmopolitan town of unique personality and charm.

THE AREA

Located in the Mediterranean coast at the southern edge of the Garraf National Park, 30 km south of Barcelona. Sitges is part of the Costa Dorada extending from Barcelona down along the Mediterranean Sea to the city of Tarragona.

Sitges has a wide variety of traditional restaurants for all tastes, Spanish cuisine with a fusion such as Italian, French, seafood or Asian.

NIGHTCLUBS AND BARS

Sitges is renowned for its nightlife. Most people heading to Sitges for a night out will have heard of the infamous 'Street of Sin', named this due to the fact that it is packed with places to drink and dance. For a relatively small town, it has its fair share of bars and clubs. If you prefer a more intimate environment on a night out, then there are plenty of bars to choose from.

Summer Activities

The best times to visit Sitges for ideal weather is from April to June or from September to November, based on average temperatures.

BEACH PARADISE

The beaches in Sitges one of its main attractions. They are always filled with people tanning, taking swims and hiring pedalos. Go jet skiing, sailing or scuba diving. Make sure that you take a walk around the town and enjoy the beauty or you can hire a bicycle to go explore. The town's narrow streets are filled with whitewashed old buildings, most of which have an interesting history.

SUMMER EVENTS

Festa Major de Sitges is the main event of the summer, large firework displays take place and there are religious parades through out the town, from the 18-26 of August, approximately 200,000 people come to Sitges for the event.

Travel to Sitges

AIRPORTS

Sitges does not have an international airport being so close to Barcelona, so taking a flight to Barcelona is the only option. Barcelona's international airport is Aeroport Del Prat de Llobregat and it's very easy to get to and from.

TRANSFERS

We can arrange for a mini bus, taxi, or chauffeur-driven service from airport to your luxury villa in Sitges.

SELF-DRIVING

Most of our properties in Sitges offer private parking and otherwise we can make arrangements for your vehicle to be safely stored while you enjoy your stay.

TRAIN

The airport train station is situated opposite Terminal 2 (T2), connected to the terminal via an airbridge. There is a Bustransit service between the train station and T1. To get to Sitges you need to change trains at the station of El Prat de Llobregat and take a train in the opposite direction.
