A total of 88 of state-of-the-art cable cars and lifts offer the highest standard of safety and comfort. 306 kilometres of marked ski runs, superbly prepared slopes for all ability levels, and 200 km of off-piste and challenging steep slopes and deep-snow ski runs, snowboard fun parks, carving areas, permanent racing circuits and numerous cosy meeting places ensure variety and enjoyment.

THE AREA

Located in Austria’s Arlberg region, it is the biggest connected ski area in Austria. It is also one of Europe’s snowiest areas and boasts 340km of slopes, 200km of off-piste itineraries and plenty of challenging off-piste terrain. In addition, it has a highly efficient lift system and an attractive town bursting with stylish hotels, chalets and restaurants. Located within two to three hours' drive of three international airports and with a railway station at its heart, the resort is easy to reach and, once there, small enough to navigate on foot or by the free public buses. Furthermore, St Anton packs some serious heritage – it's the birthplace of the father of modern skiing, Hannes Schneider, as well as being the spiritual home of après, thanks to the infamous Mooserwirt and Krazy Kanguruh bars.

RESTAURANTS & CUISINE

Ourmands with deep pockets are well-served in this Austrian resort where a good choice of topnotch restaurants serve excellent food based on local produce, both on and off the mountain. However, there are also outlets catering for families and skiers with less cash to flash on food. In short, something for everyone.
